Ironically these items seem small by comparison, but are huge steps towards occupying our house!
#1 - The well,
we couldn't find the camera the day the drillers were out, so we missed all the big equipment mobilization...
#2 - The often under-appreciated garage door... we picked out that color with the intent of painting the rest of the house that color. For those of you not familiar with cement siding. It is like cedar board siding in that it has to be painted - the jury is still out on how often, but 10-12 years... and it is way more durable than cedar, and it just looks more like wood than the good old vinyl siding...
#3 - The location of the sanitary sewer system or THE MOUND. In order to keep our costs down (I laugh at that idea now, but I digress), Blaine and the boys cleared the area where the mound is to go. One very hot, muggy weekend in June and the spot was clear. Now if the weather just holds and soil dries out enough, we will have an effluent location!

Woohoo! Glad to see the progress. It's really looking good!
