This picture is of the concrete flatwork done on the back covered porch, we also got our front stoop poured at this time as well as the basement floor... whoo wee!
Our windows have been in for awhile, but at the last minute as the were starting to put on the cement siding boards, I realized that the 2nd floor south side of the house needed more windows than just the one in the bathroom. The original house design had different roof pitches and a walkout balcony and during the changes we missed that little detail... So in 48 hours our contractor managed to get 2 new holes cut out (some siding had to be cut as well) and windows installed.... yeah - the one on the corner in this picture is one of the windows... the middle one is the original bathroom window.
Just a view of the back of the house completely sided and windows trimmed. That's as far back as I could get to take the picture, b/c the woods are right there... we have some more clearing to doInside framing, and insulation! I knew we paid these guys the big bucks for a reason... I never would have thought about the fact that once the walls are in its impossible to get a big garden tub or a large one-piece shower unit and tub into their positions... but they were put in well before the walls were in the way!
