During the lull in construction, not all activity ceased at our house, instead Blaine and Frank
focused on building a monster tree fort. Yes, those are i-beams being used to build a kids' tree
fort

Framing and Roofing done

Even though there was several days between the tar paper being put on the roof and the actual roofing, we did finally get the roof on after about a weeklong delay... the roofer was basically told either find someone to get that felt on the roof to protect our house from the coming rains... or you can find another job... that was when we were acting as our own contractor for a couple of weeks.









This is how the house looks when there are no leaves on the trees... wait for the next upload, it will look a little different.

The 2nd Floor

The second floor framing took place in mid-April, it was fun hanging out on the second floor of a building with no walls....
